Joanne Ashby

Joanne Ashby is an experienced Executive Search consultant who works alongside organisations to align talent strategies that reflect business needs. With previous experience in organisational development, Joanne has worked across a range of sectors in NZ and internationally (including Australia, the UK and Hong Kong), combining a pragmatic approach with an eye for organisational design and leadership alignment.

As Human Capital Manager at Watson Wyatt and formerly Organisational Development Manager at Morgan & Banks, she has spearheaded high-impact projects ranging from executive search and leadership panels for senior government appointments, to large-scale restructures and bespoke organisational development programmes.

​

She is a seasoned board leader, having chaired both primary and independent secondary school boards for nearly a decade, and serves on a sports board with a strategic portfolio. Her work reflects a blend of operational excellence in delivery and community-minded leadership.

Joanne is also a qualified Executive Coach with additional credentials in psychological assessment and evaluation.  She employs a high-challenge, high-support model to prompt genuine self-reflection, increasing awareness that leads to improved overall performance for both the individual and their team
